Graphic Design
This project was done utilizing Adobe Indesign to produce a newspaper spread. I enjoyed this assignment because I was able to choose anything I wished to do. I learned how to easily utilize Indesign with the graphics and content remaining as their own separate entity. This newspaper spread was designed by linking many different file types and organizing them in Indesign to make one beautiful finished product.
Website Design
Take a look first hand at what I am capable of doing for a
restaurant website. This was a group effort when it came to the design. Like the site you are viewing now this was done in WordPress using only free plug-ins. If you will look you will notice that the key purpose for this site was to obtain reservations. Call to action buttons are strategically placed throughout so that making a reservation is as seamless as possible. There is also a call to action in place so that someone is able to submit an application. The contact form responses, applications and reservations are all able to be managed from the WordPress site with no extra subscriptions or fees.
Video for Commercial
To create this video I used Adobe Rush. I also had to optimize and change most of the graphics in either Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. I am sharing this so you are able to hear my voice. Overall I am happy with the video but it was hard to control the transitions when using Rush so unless I need to edit video from a mobile device I will stick to Adobe Premiere Pro Version for that specific reason.
Figma Moble App Prototype
This project had to do with coming up with an idea for a mobile application. It was not a requirement to use Figma. It also did not require a completely interactive design but when I found Figma and realized it was possible to do this there was no holding back. I enjoy the platform and look forward to working on it again.
